Make Your Own Gluten Free Mix

This recipe was lovingly provided by Josy, through the Dundas Naturopathic Centre.

It has taken Josy several years to tinker with this substitute for all-purpose flour to ensure the right consistency and texture when baking.

3 cups Rice flour
1 cup Potato starch
1/2 cup Tapioca flour
1 tbsp Potato flour
4 tbsp Xanthan or Guar gum

Sift each ingredient into a large mixing bowl, and thoroughly mix all ingredients with a wire whisk.

Store in cupboard as “gluten-free flour” and directly substitute the flour volume in your favourite recipes.
